Frequently Asked Questions

Need to Know

How are you different from a regular trainer at a gym?

Trainers have restrictions when they work for gyms.  Sometimes, they have to follow similar protocols and training methods if they work in a commercial gym.  There's also the stress of trying to have as many clients as possible to make a decent living.  With too many clients, the quality of focus goes down as does the personal touch.  Because I train online or in home, I solely focus on your needs and tailor your program without restriction.  The intimate setting fosters a better client/trainer relationship, and you are less likely to reschedule because sessions are conveniently in your home There is no pressure, competition, distractions or restrictions, just you, me and your goals.

What types of home fitness equipment do you recommend?

Essential pieces of equipment are a set of weights, resistance band and a mat. Great additions would be a weight bench, aerobic stepper or stepladder, several sets of weights, kettlebell set and a short 25 lb. bar.  If you plan to weight train, you should also invest in weighted plates and clamps to add to your bar.

Do you charge extra for nutritional guidance and a diet plan?

Nutritional Coaching is free with personal training, but isn't included with large group training programs.  Nutritional coaching is priced separately for flexibility and affordability.

Are your classes co-ed?

Synergized Coaching primarily focuses on women's health, but exercises classes are open to men.  If you are looking for women's only exercise classes, contact Synergized Coaching for privatized classes or schedule personal training.
